College

College is awesome. Art college is even awesomer. Orientation was a blast, and I've finished my first week of classes. I really like my schedule. I only have one 8:30 am class. The rest of my classes are in the afternoon. (yay! *dances*).

The attendance policy at my college is really strict. (/gulp) Some classes you can only have 2 absences before your grade gets dropped. Some professors even fail you if you only miss 3 classes, (it's a little intimidating, actually...) but I'm sure I'll be able to do it. I'd like to say that being sick, or "excused" absences are included in the above statement, and that's why it's so scary.

Also, there's a really heavy workload. We are all art students, and they really pile on the homework and classwork here. Some of it is fun, like drawing in my sketchbooks and such, but I also have an english class and (/gag) art history class. The homework from those classes is going to be tedious and un-fun. I'm not looking forward to it, but I have to do well! (*puffs out chest*)

I'm actually trying to do my english homework that's due tomorrow, or later today, rather. I'm finding it hard to write my paper. Maybe I'm just out of practice. Heh. I decided to do a blog to warm up my writing muscles. Lol, what the hell is a writing muscle? I don't even know.

Man, I need to get used to typing on my BEAUTIFUL NEW MAC BOOK PRO's keyboard. It's smaller than the one I used to have at home, so I keep missing the keys. Haha. Oh well, I'm sure I'll be able to adjust soon. Well, I have to get back to work. It's 2 am, and I have class later today...

Words.

I keep feeling like I want to write something on my blog again. About how I'm leaving for college tomorrow for the first time, or how I'm going to miss the familiar and am excited for new experiences.

I just can't find the right words.
